The Les Essentiels set consists of 3 basics for 6 people, including a large bowl, a large plate, and a small plate. It is the minimum required for daily use to accompany you throughout all meals of the day.
After an initial firing of the clay at low temperature, pigments are added to reactive glazes and applied to the stoneware to give it a deep relief. The appearance of shade variations that are found from one piece to another is the result of a skilled artisanal blend of firing techniques and glaze application methods.
