The story of this brand starts in 2003 when its founder, Bruno Van Gaver, decided to market a line of footwear using the acerbic name, "Mellow Yellow", a reference to the title of a famous song from the 60s. This witticism expresses the agility, humour, cheerfulness and diversity of colour that was to become the brand's signature. The shoes are displayed in a warm and modern setting, with warm wooden floors and uncluttered décor. Touches of colour here and there are a nod to the 1970s.
