Virginie de Vinster was inspired by her travels to create her own brand of ready-to-wear for women. She didn't attend a fashion school, nor did she work for a major fashion house. Her school was Africa, where she worked for over 15 years. Virginie discovered the creativity and culture of West African artisans, through the Sahel, passing through Ivory Coast and Benin, or even Togo and Ghana. The brand's watchwords are simplicity of form, respect for the materials used, and originality of design. The clothes are made ethically and responsibly. Virginie advocates for slow fashion, and her philosophy is to make each garment a story that evokes a sense of elsewhere, like a travel journal.
