Schott is a brand created in 1913 by the Schott brothers when they started producing mackintoshes in New York. The Schott brand was the first to sew a zip onto a leather jacket. The leather jacket was named after Irving Schott's favourite cigar. It became world famous after being worn by Marlon Brando in one of his films. Then James Dean made the leather jacket his essential. This is how the Schott brand became the reference in terms of leather jackets. Today it is the 4th generation of Schott that continues to produce the mythical Schott jackets and collections. Schott has been able to evolve and adapt to fashion as shown by the arrival of the bombers, a jacket that is still rock but more urban. Schott jackets can be worn with trousers or a skirt.
