These 1461 shoes are made of sturdy Smooth Original leather and remain true to the model produced 60 years ago. These shoes are set on a raw-looking air-cushioned sole, a construction reinforced by our signature yellow stitching, a standout detail since the beginning.
The 1461 3-eye shoes are the second model created by Dr. Martens, highly appreciated for their easy-to-wear aspect. The durable and stiff Smooth leather can be polished to a high shine or proudly display signs of wear. The choice is yours. Clean with a damp cloth and nourish with Dr. Martens wax polish. Our Goodyear welted models are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature stitching.
