Erborian is the meeting of a Korean scientist passionate about skincare and beauty, Hojung Lee, and a French woman equally passionate about cosmetics, Katalin Berenyi. It was during a trip to South Korea that Katalin met Hojung. The two women, passionate about skincare and beauty, decided to create Erborian together. Founded by Katalin Berenyi  and Hojung Lee in 2007, Erborian has become the cosmetic reference, adopting the codes of traditional medicine. It was during a trip to South Korea that Katalin dedicated herself to a passion for Korean culture and their treatments. But above all, the meeting with Hojung Lee, a scientist equally passionate about cosmetics, changed her life. By sharing their cultural universes, the desire to create their own brand emerged. Erborian is the perfect blend of two different cultures. The brand has made its place in the world of beauty thanks to its many differences, breaking the clichés of cosmetics. Katalin and Hojung attach great importance to the quality of their products and do not hesitate to design extraordinary packaging. In 2009, the BB cream was launched. It would become one of their best-sellers and greatly help the brand gain recognition worldwide. Since then, the brand has continued to create and use its expertise to develop its products, drawing inspiration from French and Korean culture. All products sold by the brand are developed using traditional medicinal plants as a base. Erborian develops its treatments with the precious help of the Korean Faculty of Medicine.
