Cop.Copine is a women's ready-to-wear brand created in 1986 by two brothers. The unmistakable little details on its unique, graphic collections give it a real style boost. An invisible zipper on the cuff of a poplin shirt, neon elastic to cinch in the waist of a black crepe dress or a metal eyelet inserted into a skirt hem are all classic Cop.Copine touches.
In a class of its own, Cop.Copine is constantly reinventing itself to offer sassy, independent women beautifully tailored clothes. The philosophy of this attractive brand is to offer something to suit everyone's body shape and style.
The Cop.Copine story began with two brothers, Alain and Léon, who were determined to bring fashion to the street. When they created the brand in 1986, it was originally called Copain Copine. It was only changed to Cop.Copine in 1993.
Determined to open up fashion to all women who want to have fun with trends and shake up fashion conventions, Alain and Léon offer distinctly feminine, high-end collections that look good with every body shape. From concept to first prototype, all the work is done in their large offices in Paris with its happy, cosmopolitan atmosphere. The brand is one of the last of its kind to still have an in-house studio. They say that only "magic hands" could produce such amazing clothing! At the helm is Marie Jo de Oliveira, the artistic director who channels her team's energy and injects each collection with inspiration from her travels.
Her philosophy is all about ultra-precise cuts and the right choice of high-quality materials.
Cop.Copine is a brand in tune with the times that dresses women with elegance. Its aim? To keep things casual while never being pigeonholed. Check out Cop.Copine's incredibly comfortable sweaters at Place des Tendances.
