Our Choice of Materials:
We have chosen to use very high-quality leathers, ethically sourced and sustainably produced in LWG certified tanneries. The Leather Working Group, an international organization, evaluates leather industry companies based on environmental, social, health and safety criteria, not to mention the traceability of raw materials. Our leather supplier has been awarded the Gold Rated. Wanting to offer you a responsible and sustainable production system, we have also chosen to source materials as close as possible to the raw material. From France for the woods to Italy for the leather, each of our choices is thoughtful and justified. We have chosen lime wood for its robustness and lightness.
The woods of our soles come from eco-managed French forests. These are woods from sustainable forest management that do not contribute to deforestation.
No chemical products are used during the vegetable tanning of our leathers; tannin of organic origin based on plants, barks or berries. This technique is more environmentally friendly and worker-friendly.
