This document governs the terms and conditions of use of the website www.placedestendances.com (hereinafter the "Website") and the terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter the "T&Cs") between Place des Tendances (hereinafter "Place des Tendances") and any non-trading individual aged 18 or over acting for personal purposes who wishes to use the Website (hereinafter the "User") or make a purchase on the Website (hereinafter the "Customer"). Before using the Website, we recommend you read these T&Cs, our cookies policy and our personal data protection policy (hereinafter the "Personal Data Protection Policy") available in Article 11 - Personal Data Protection Policy, below. By using or placing an order on the Website, you are deemed to have accepted these T&Cs without restriction or reservation, along with the Personal Data Protection Policy, at the time of ordering. Place des Tendances reserves the right to update and revise these T&Cs without prior notice. The T&Cs that apply to the User or Customer are the ones in force at the time that person uses or places an order on the Website. Place des Tendances offers ready-to-wear clothing and accessories for sale from renowned brands only. These products come directly from authorised manufacturers and resellers (hereinafter the "Products"). PPlace des Tendances also has a section for beauty products (hereinafter the "Beauty Products"), some of which are sold on behalf of Printemps SAS, a company with a capital of €110,563,160, whose registered office is at 102 Rue de Provence, 75009 Paris, with both companies belonging to the Printemps Group. The delivery of Beauty Products is not available in some countries (see Article 3.2 of these T&Cs). You must create an account in order to enjoy all the private offers, private sales and other marketing campaigns reserved for the Website's customer base. Membership of our "Club Trendy" loyalty club also requires you create an account. For more information on Club Trendy, clickon this link. In the first section, click on "modify" to the right of your password. 4. Enter your current password, then your new password. Confirm it and click on "Confirm". Your login name and password are personal and confidential. As such, you must ensure your password remains confidential and must not reveal it to a third party for whatsoever reason. Furthermore, the Company reserves the right to disable the Customer's account and/or delete any "Club Trendy" benefits if the Customer fails to adhere to these T&Cs and/or exhibits inappropriate behaviour, such as: . Misuse or infringement of the right to exercise withdrawal conditions: - persistent returns or a disproportionate number of returns; - products worn, washed, altered and/or damaged; . Excessive and/or unfounded complaints about delivery: - repeated delivery disputes on the grounds of supposedly missing Products or undelivered packages; - misuse of the right to invoke the legal guarantee of conformity and/or hidden defects: a repeated or clearly excessive number of unfounded complaints . Fraudulent use of customer benefits . Identity theft . Creation of multiple accounts for the same Customer. In the event that an account and/or "Club Trendy" loyalty benefits are cancelled, the Customer may contact the Company's customer service team via this link. |
2.1 Placing an order
The order process includes the following steps, which we recommend our Customers follow by entering and checking the information required at each step: - Customers add one or more Products to their basket, which they can view, modify and finalise at any time; - the basket's contents are checked and the basket finalised; - Customers access their account by giving their login name and password in order to confirm, modify or complete their delivery details. If Customers do not yet have an account on the Website, they can create a customer account by entering the information required during this process; - selection of shipping method; - selection of payment method and express acceptance of the Website's T&Cs; - Customers are redirected to the secure online payment website for payment validation. Customers then give their final agreement by confirming their bank details, i.e. their credit or debit card number, expiry date and CVV. 2.2 Order confirmation Customers receive an order confirmation email, which summarises the details of the items ordered. Orders will only be accepted after payment has been processed. Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 1 above, Place des Tendances reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order from a Customer in the following instances: - in the event of a payment irregularity with the order; - in the event of an abnormal quantity of products being ordered by a single consumer; - in the event of a payment dispute relating to a previous order placed on the Website; - in the event of suspected fraud, based primarily on frequent complaints and/or returns by the Customer relating to previous orders; - in the event of repeated infringement of the right to exercise withdrawal conditions relating to previous orders (products worn, washed, altered and/or damaged); - in the event of an obvious error in the price displayed on the product and/or in one of the product features; - in the event of fraudulent use of our loyalty programme, such as by creating multiple customer accounts. To this end, Customers are informed that in order to prevent identity theft, Place des Tendances may require proof of identity documents to verify that the order was indeed placed by the Customer. Personal data collected in this way is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Policy available by clicking on the link in Article 11 of this document. 2.3 Product features In accordance with Article L 111-1 of the French Consumer Code, before placing an order Customers may view the key features of the Products they wish to order on the Website. These details are available in each of the product descriptions. 2.4 Prices Prices displayed on the Website are shown in euros (€), pounds sterling (£) or Swiss francs (CHF), depending on the currency in use in the country in which the Customer places the order and accesses the Website. These prices include the VAT applicable in France or in the country of delivery on the day the order is placed, but are shown exclusive of shipping costs which are payable by the Customer. It should be noted that customs duties are also included in the price displayed. Rates for the various shipping options can be viewed by clicking on this link. Place des Tendances reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, any such modifications will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. 2.5 Product Availability By placing an order, you are deemed to have accepted the price and description of the Products available to purchase. Place des Tendances will honour Product orders while stocks last. If one or more Products are not available after an order has been placed, Place des Tendances will notify the Customer by email as soon as possible with details on when the Product(s) will be available again or with confirmation that they are not available. If a Product is unavailable or if the Customer abandons the purchase, the order for that Product will automatically be cancelled and the corresponding amount refunded using the same method of payment as that used for placing the order. 2.6 Modifying an order Once an order has been confirmed, it cannot be modified (delivery address or content). Therefore, on receipt of the ordered Product(s), Customers must return them in accordance with the provisions of Article 8 - Right of withdrawal, below. Place des Tendances recommends Customers place a new order on the same day in order to get the size or style they want. |
3.1 Order shipment: Orders placed before 2 pm: Orders confirmed before 2 pm, Monday to Friday, are shipped on the same day (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 2 pm: These orders receive priority processing the next business day. Orders confirmed between 2 pm on Friday and Sunday evening are shipped on Monday evening. Customers are sent an email when their order is shipped from our warehouse. This email confirms the selected shipping method and the order tracking number. Customers who want to receive their order details and track it can log into their account and go to the "My order tracking" page. 3.2 Delivery address Products are shipped to the delivery address provided by the Customer during the order process. Customers are advised that Place des Tendances cannot be held liable should it be impossible to deliver the order due to incorrect delivery address information entered by the Customer. Place des Tendances delivers its Products to the following European Union countries: mainland France (including Corsica), Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia and Slovenia; to the following countries located outside of the European Union: Switzerland and the United Kingdom; and to French Overseas Départements and Territories (DOM-TOM) and the rest of the world using our partner ColisExpat as per the procedure set out in Article 3.4.4 "DOM-TOM and the rest of the world" of these T&Cs. Beauty products cannot be delivered to the following countries: - United Kingdom; - Switzerland. 3.3 Delivery times: Except in cases of force majeure and excluding some peak periods such as sales, and subject to order confirmation and payment by the Customer: -Orders are prepared and shipped in accordance with the terms and conditions of Article 3.1 above; - Shipping and delivery times are indicated in Article 3.4 below, subject to stock availability. These periods begin: o For shipping times, on the date of the order confirmation email; o For delivery times, on the date of the shipment confirmation email sent by the Company to the Customer. Place des Tendances undertakes to inform Customers of their order progress by email. In addition, Customers who want to track their package can log into their account, go to the "My account" page and click on "My order tracking". Customers are advised that there will be no delivery tracking within 24 hours of the order being placed, as orders first have to be pre-processed at a sorting centre. After this time, Customers can track the progress of their package on the website of the carrier selected when the order was placed. 3.4 Shipping methods Place des Tendances offers Customers the shipping methods listed below. 3.4.1 3.4.1Mainland France and Corsica: -Throughout France and Corsica: . Click and collect : Deliveries to Printemps stores located outside Paris are made by Chronopost within 24 to 48 hours. The stores offering Click & Collect are: Printemps Rouen - Printemps Deauville - Printemps Le Havre - Printemps Lille - Printemps Lyon - Printemps Marseille La Valentine - Printemps Marseille Terrasses Du Port - Printemps Metz - Printemps Nancy - Printemps Rennes - Printemps Strasbourg - Printemps Toulon. To collect your order, you must present the collection code sent by email confirming delivery of your order to the store, along with your ID. You can collect your order at the Click & Collect counter of your selected store during opening hours. For more information on Printemps store opening hours, visit www.printempsfrance.com. . Colissimo : Delivery in 48 to 72 hours, Monday to Saturday, in mainland France and Corsica: between 8 am and 7 pm on weekdays and between 8 am and 12 pm on Saturdays. Customers can choose to have their package delivered to their home, a post office or a participating retailer. . Chronopost : This "express" delivery service offers delivery within 24 hours of your order being shipped, from Monday to Saturday, in mainland France. Deliveries are made by Chronopost from Monday to Saturday, between 7 am and 1 pm. All orders placed before 2 pm are delivered the next day before 1 pm (in less than 24 hours). - For example, an order placed on Tuesday before 2 pm will be delivered on Wednesday before 1 pm. - For example, an order placed on Friday before 2 pm will be delivered on Saturday before 1 pm. All orders placed after 2 pm are dispatched the following working day, and will be delivered within the following 24 hours. - For example, an order placed on Tuesday after 2 pm will be dispatched on Wednesday evening and delivered on Thursday before 1 pm. - For example, an order placed on Friday after 2 pm will be dispatched on Monday evening and delivered on Tuesday before 1 pm. . Chrono Relais : This "express" delivery service offers delivery within 24 hours of your order being shipped, to the pick-up point of your choice, from Monday to Saturday in mainland France. Deliveries are made by Chronopost from Monday to Saturday, between 7 am and 1 pm. Chronopost pick-up points have long opening hours. All orders placed before 2 pm are delivered to your pick-up point the next day before 1 pm (in less than 24 hours). - For example, an order placed on Tuesday before 2 pm will be delivered to your pick-up point on Wednesday before 1 pm. - For example, an order placed on Friday before 2 pm will be delivered to your pick-up point on Saturday before 1 pm. All orders placed after 2 pm are dispatched the following working day, and will be delivered within the following 24 hours. - For example, an order placed on Tuesday after 2 pm will be dispatched on Wednesday evening and delivered on Thursday before 1 pm. - For example, an order placed on Friday after 2 pm will be dispatched on Monday evening and delivered on Tuesday before 1 pm. Important note: Your package will be held for up to 7 days at your pick-up point. On the 8th day it will automatically be returned to Place des Tendances. Paris and Paris region . Click and collect : Delivery within 24 hours via VIP courier to the following Printemps Paris stores: Printemps Haussmann, Printemps Nation and Printemps Italie 2. Deliveries to one of the Printemps stores located in the Paris region (Printemps Vélizy 2 and Printemps Parly 2) are made by Chronopost in 24 to 48 hours. Chrono Classic International: Standard delivery to a home address: The average delivery time is 2 to 3 days. Chrono Relais Switzerland: The average delivery time for a standard PickUp® delivery is 2 days. . Management of customs duties Packages shipped to Switzerland are subject to customs duties. Place des Tendances undertakes to pay the Swiss VAT and any customs duties directly to the Swiss authorities. Customers will have no additional taxes to pay when they receive their package. DOM-TOM and the rest of the world . Colis Expat Customers who create an account on our partner ColisExpat's website at https://www.colisexpat.com, are provided with a French address for shipment, from which orders are reshipped to the country selected by the Customer. ColisExpat arranges shipment of the parcel from the French address regardless of the destination country. For more details on shipping methods and costs, visit this link. 3.5 General provisions for Product delivery Customers are responsible for checking that the delivery matches their order and immediately notifying us of any errors. Customers are also responsible for checking the condition of the Products delivered. Any package with obvious irregularities (damage, product on the purchase order missing, damaged or open package, faulty product, etc.) at the time of its delivery or collection by the Customer must be the subject of a complaint sent to the customer service team within three (3) days of the delivery or collection date, using this form. Customers must return the Product in question by following the Product return procedure set out in Article 9.1, specifying the reason for return as "Non-compliant Product". The warranty conditions are outlined in Article 10 below. If the irregularity is proven and confirmed by Place des Tendances, subject to the package being received by the Place des Tendances warehouse, the Customer will receive an email stating whether the Product in question can be exchanged or refunded. In the case of a refund, the Product price, shipping costs and return shipping costs will be reimbursed within fourteen (14) days of the date that Place des Tendances confirms the Customer's right to a refund, in accordance with the warranty conditions outlined in Article 10. |
4.1 Payment methods available
Customers can pay for their orders using the following methods: - the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro and Mastercard for all countries stated in Article and American Express, excluding United Kingdom, Switzerland, DOM-TOM and the rest of the world. Transactions made on the Website are entrusted to the secure online payment platform Ingenico ePayments, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under no. B 435 236 898, whose registered office is at 28/32 Boulevard de Grenelle, 75015 Paris, France, tel.: + 33 (0) 1 70 70 09 03, email: support.ecom@ingenico.com. Customers' credit/debit card payment details (card number, expiry date and CVV on the reverse side of the card) are encrypted by our service provider, who sends these payment details to the bank in the strictest confidence and makes them inaccessible to any third parties. Customers may choose to save their card details, which remain encrypted and inaccessible. Every time a saved card is used, the Customer must re-enter their account password and CVV. The saved card will only be suggested if the same delivery address is used by the Customer for a future order. Customers may delete saved cards on the "My bank cards" page of their account, or add other cards on the payment page when making a purchase. - by PayPal account, excluding United Kingdom and Switzerland, which will automatically be subject to the PayPal Service terms of use and the PayPal privacy policy. - by Printania card or voucher issued by Place des Tendances, valid for six (6) months on the Website, or by gift card valid for one (1) year on the Website, in accordance with the terms outlined in Article 5 below. Payment can be made in full or in part with any one of these payment methods. By clicking on "Authorise payment", Customers confirm that either the credit card is theirs or that they are the legitimate holder of the gift card, Printania card or voucher. 4.2 Payment in 3 interest-free instalments (only available in mainland France and Corsica) The Website allows Customers to pay for all orders between €150 and €3,000 in three interest-free instalments. Customers pay one third of the total order amount, which is debited on the shipping confirmation date, then two further monthly instalments, each equivalent to one third of the order total, which are debited 30 and 60 days after the order. This option is offered by Oney Bank, an SA (public limited company) with a capital of €50,601,585, registered in the Lille Métropole Trade and Companies register under no. 546 380 197, whose registered office is at 40 Avenue de Flandre, 59170 Croix, France, registered with ORIAS under no. 07 023 261. Customers can still cancel their order with this type of payment. If you choose to cancel, you will only receive a refund of the amount actually paid, not the outstanding amount. 5.1 Buying a gift card |
Place des Tendances retains ownership of the Products until the order has been paid in full, i.e. payment of the full price and associated costs has been cleared by Place des Tendances. These provisions do not prevent the transfer of the risk of loss and deterioration of the purchased Products to the Customer, from the time they are received, as well as any damage they may cause. |
All texts, comments, photos, brands, illustrations and images reproduced on the Website are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. These elements are and remain the exclusive property of Place des Tendances or the holder of the intellectual property rights in question. Any full or partial reproduction of the Website or one of its elements on any media whatsoever and for whatever reason is strictly prohibited. |
8.1 Withdrawal period In accordance with Article L 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, Customers have a period of fourteen (14) days from the date they receive their order to return the ordered Products, without needing to justify their decision. In the event of multiple deliveries for one order, the withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days after the day the Customer physically takes possession of the final Product. 8.2 Exercising your right of withdrawal - Notifying of your decision to withdraw: To exercise your right to withdraw, you must inform Place des Tendances of your decision to withdraw using the downloadable form HERE or in a clear, unambiguous statement posted to 110 bis Avenue du Général Leclerc, 93500 Pantin, France, or emailed to serviceclient@placedestendances.com. You may also complete and send the online form directly to our customer service team via this link - Product returns: Customers must return the Product to Place des Tendances at 110 bis Avenue du Général Leclerc, 93500 Pantin, France without undue delay and within fourteen (14) days of notifying Place des Tendances of their decision to withdraw, using the returns form and shipping label that can be downloaded from their account. This applies to countries within the European Union. Customers in countries outside the European Union will receive the shipping label and commercial invoice by email from our service provide Webinterpret. . The Product return procedure is outlined in paragraphs 9.1 and 9.2 below. 9.1 Terms and conditions of Product returns

Accordingly, the Company reserves the right to reject the return if the returned Product is not in resale condition (returned Product is incomplete, spoiled, damaged, worn, soiled or washed, for instance).

However, if the Company deems that the Customer did not adhere to the right of withdrawal conditions or the terms and conditions of Product returns set out in Article 9.1 above, the Customer acknowledges having been expressly informed of the Company's exemption from covering the Product return costs. In this instance, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the Company's refund to the Customer. Proof of shipment of the Product must be sent by the Customer by post to the following address: Place des Tendances, Customer Relations Department, 110 bis Avenue du Général Leclerc, 93500 Pantin, France. Place des Tendances will refund any payments made by the Customer in respect of the returned Product.
-If only part of the order is returned, the Customer is not entitled to a refund of the original standard shipping costs.
When paying in three interest-free instalments, Oney Bank will recredit the Customer's credit or debit card with an amount equal to the instalments already debited. Any future instalments will be cancelled. If you have any questions, please contact the Oney Bank customer service team directly on 3670 (premium rate number within France). This process only applies in France. If the Customer paid for the order with two payment methods, including a voucher, the refund will be prorated for each payment method, meaning that the Customer will receive part of the refund as a voucher. If the Company receives a return package whose contents are inconsistent with the return request or whose items do not respect the return conditions mentioned above, it reserves the right to exercise any corresponding recovery action with the Customer. |
All Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 et seq of the French Consumer Code) and guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq of the French Civil Code), which allow Customers to return defective and non-compliant delivered Products free of charge. 10.1 Legal guarantee of conformity |

Be fit for the normal use expected for such goods and, where applicable: - match the description given by the seller and possess the qualities the seller presented to the purchaser in the form of samples or designs; - offer qualities that a purchaser may legitimately expect given the public declarations made by the seller, producer or representative, particularly in advertising and on labels; 2. Or offer the characteristics established by common accord between the parties or be fit for any special use sought by the purchaser which is communicated to the seller and which the latter has accepted." With regard to the legal guarantee of conformity, Customers: - have a two-year period from delivery of the Product to take action against Place des Tendances, the seller; - can choose between repair or replacement of the Product, subject to the cost conditions set out in Article L 217-9 of the French Consumer Code; - are exempted from providing proof of the Product's non-conformity during the two (2) years following delivery of the Product. The legal guarantee of conformity applies independently of any commercial guarantees granted. The Customer may decide to invoke the guarantee against hidden defects in the Product sold pursuant to Article 1641 of the French Civil Code. In this instance, the Customer may choose between cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with Article 1644 of the French Civil Code. |
Under the legal guarantee of conformity, Place des Tendances undertakes, in accordance with the Customer's choice:: - either to repair the Product; - or to replace the Product with an identical product subject to stock availability;However, pursuant to Article L 217-9 of the French Consumer Code, the Company may not proceed in accordance with the Customer's choice if this choice has a demonstrably higher cost than the other method, taking into account the value of the goods or the extent of the defect. The Company is then obliged to proceed in accordance with the method not chosen by the Customer, unless this proves impossible. Moreover, pursuant to Article 217-10 of the French Consumer Code, if it proves impossible to repair or replace the Product or if the requested, proposed or agreed solution pursuant to the above paragraph cannot be delivered within one month of the complaint date, the Company may: - either refund the price of the Product along with any shipping and return costs if a replacement proves impossible; - or provide the Customer with the details of the Product manufacturer or distributor. 10.2 Guarantee against hidden defects |
Article 1641 of the French Civil Code: "The seller is liable for the warranty of any product sold with hidden defects that make it unsuitable for the use for which it was intended or which affect this use to such an extent that the purchaser would not have bought it or would not have paid that price had he/she been aware of them." Article 1648, paragraph 1 of the French Civil Code: "The action resulting from an insurmountable defect must be initiated by the purchaser within two (2) years of the date the defect is discovered." |

These T&Cs are subject to French law.
