Puma is a sneaker brand created in 1948. But its history began much earlier. The brand is also linked to another well-known sneaker brand, Adidas. In 1928, the German Dassler family started manufacturing sports shoes. A family business created by two brothers, Adolf and Rudolf, and it was only in 1948 that they decided to split up and continue the adventure each on their own. One created Adidas and the other Puma. The brand, initially focused on sports shoes, developed its business by manufacturing accessories and sportswear. Puma definitively established its reputation on a level comparable to Adidas in 1980. In 1986, Puma became a publicly traded company in Munich and Frankfurt. The company currently employs over 14,000 people and has 2322 stores. Find all Puma items now on Place des Tendances.
