Si nous sommes de plus en plus fans des séries télévisées c'est avant tout parce qu'ils sont le reflet de notre société tant au niveau des normes, que des valeurs ou attitudes. Mais avouez que parfois nous sommes autant captivés par l'intrigue que par la garde-robe de certains personnages qui possèdent un dressing à nous faire pâlir de jalousie !

Il arrive même que les héros ou héroïnes deviennent de vrais icônes fashion qui nous inspirent et façonnent notre compréhension de l'égalité des genres. En voici quelques exemples ?
GIRL POWER BEHIND BARS
Orange Is the New Black changed television as we knew it by being one of the first ever series to platform women in all their glorious diversity, starring characters from a huge range of different backgrounds, with different sexualities and gender identities. It also shone a light on the systemic issues bubbling away within the American prison system, such as over-crowding, violence and discrimination. The series had a massive impact on fashion, too: the inmates? orange jumpsuits became iconic, and inspired everything from Halloween costumes to eveningwear. The series also served as a springboard for the up-and-coming brands that lent each of the protagonists their own distinctive style, reflecting back their personalities and lived experiences.
