Founded in 2023 by Istra and Michelle, two fashion professionals driven by a shared passion for the sea, travel, and Italy, Marrea designs relaxed and contemporary accessories, inspired by the Mediterranean art of living. Its name, derived from the Italian word for tides, reflects a philosophy of movement and freedom, balancing city life and seaside. At the heart of its universe, the hand-woven neoprene bags have become the brand's true signature: light, supple, and resistant, they reinterpret the aesthetic of the traditional basket in a more modern and versatile way.
