The Kookaï journey began in 1983. Three friends created a clothing company to fill a gap in the market: knitwear for young women. This iconic women's fashion brand stood out from the crowd with its designer positioning, offering on-trend clothing that was purposefully affordable. Its designers were constantly striving to make its knitwear more attractive, more original and as fairly priced as possible to meet the needs of a young, changing customer base. Its main target audience was young, sassy, liberated 80s women. It offered feminine cuts and sensual materials inspired by current trends. The "Kookaïette" was born. It was a brand for pretty little misses who were comfortable with themselves and their slightly crazy ways. But Kookaï has moved with the times and with its customers.
