IKKS is a French ready-to-wear brand born in 1987. Its creator, Gérard Legoff, always wanted to name his brand "X". Unfortunately it is impossible to use only one letter in the name of a brand, so he decided to name his brand IKKS phonetically to resemble the letter X as much as possible. At the time, the brand was intended only for children with original, but comfortable clothes borrowing the style of adult fashion.
