Falke Women

Falke is a German brand of women's tights and socks created in 1895 by Franz Falke-Rohen. A few years later, his son took over the company and together they bought the "Woll-und Haargarnspinnerei Carl Meisenburg", which was later renamed FALKE Garne and marked the beginning of the company's development into the present group. The resources are expanded and new sock machines are installed. In 1946 the FALKE brand was created and used for the first time in the sock sector. In 1950 the trademark was registered and the logo registered. The success of Falke takes and the company creates the Falke companies in Portugal, Austria, Hungary and also in South Africa. Falke gained further momentum by signing collaborations with international designers such as Christian Dior, Lagerfeld and Armani. In 1992, the first Falke shop was opened in Cologne. Today, there are 81 Falke concept shops in Germany in partnership with various retailers and 20 Falke concept shops in Europe's largest fashion centres.
