It was during a study tour of China that Frédéric Mugnier and Nicolas Rohr decided to create their own footwear brand. They named it after the country that inspired them: Faguo means "France" in mandarin. Their eco-friendly collections are influenced by adventure and nature. The Faguo story began with their desire to create a footwear brand that they would sell to their friends at private sales. They quickly established the coconut button as Faguo's trademark, a symbol of their commitment as they expanded into the clothing and accessories sector. Faguo is committed to protecting the environment by planting a tree for every pair of shoes sold. To date it has planted over a million as part of the fight against deforestation and to limit its carbon footprint. It now has 7 stores in France (6 of them in Paris) and a presence in 24 countries around the world. Life is an adventure for Faguo and every day is an opportunity to discover something new.
