Suncoo was born of a meeting between two passionate individuals; one mad about fashion and the other design. Stella and Thomas created Suncoo together in 2007 in the heart of Paris. They are inspired by everything from art, architecture and design to photography and travel. But above all else, they are inspired by women. According to Stella, Suncoo's designer, "Clothes are only beautiful if a woman feels good wearing them". She is always watching women; in the street, in the office and in cafés. She scrutinizes their every move and facial expression. To a designer, the way a piece works on the body—its movement—is as important as any trend. While contemporary style is a vital part of her creative process, the rest is about comfort. Her vision of the Suncoo woman? Free, elegant and adventurous both in her life and in her style. Her high standards have become a way of life. The Suncoo woman leads several different lives, so her wardrobe is a big help to her on a day-to-day basis. She feels strong in her high-waisted skirt, cool in her plaid suit, protected by the soft knit of her Suncoo sweaters and unstoppable in her wrap dress. She always looks effortlessly chic, as she only wears clothes that suit her. Whatever the occasion or goal, Suncoo is made for women on the go, just like her.
