It was in 1993 that Samsøe Samsøe saw the light of day. The two brothers Klaus and Preben opened a small store in the Latin Quarter of Copenhagen and gave it their family name. Originally designed for selling jewelry, the store quickly expanded its articles to include high-end T-shirts for men. In 2000, the brand was taken over by new management who transformed it into an international fashion house focused on contemporary clothing, shoes, and accessories for women and men. It is now located in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, sold in over 40 stores and more than 500 retail spaces in 27 countries, as well as online. Purely Scandinavian, Samsøe Samsøe draws inspiration from the style and energy of the Copenhagen street and applies it to its collections that transcend trends. In the traditions of Danish design, the clothes are minimalist, affordable, comfortable, and accessible. All with a pronounced Nordic look.
