General Conditions of Use of the loyalty program Le Club Trendy

Place des Tendances, simplified joint stock company with a capital of €750,000, whose headquarters is at 109 Rue de Provence, 75009 Paris, France, listed in the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 493 264 527, offers its customers a loyalty Programme (hereinafter the "Programme").

1. Features of the Le Club Trendy Programme
The purpose of the Le Club Trendy loyalty Programme offered by Place des Tendances is to provide members of the Le Club Trendy Programme (hereinafter the "Members") with the below-mentioned benefits when they make purchases from the Place des Tendances company.

2. Membership of the Le Club Trendy loyalty Programme
Users are automatically and simultaneously enrolled in the Le Club Trendy loyalty Programme upon creation of a customer account on the www.placedestendances.com site. For www.placedestendances.com customers (hereinafter the "Customers") who have already opened a customer account, membership will be automatic from the launch of the Programme and will retroactively take into account purchases made in the 6 (six) months preceding the customer's membership. Membership of the Le Club Trendy Programme is free. All natural persons of full legal age residing in France, including Corsica, are eligible. Companies, associations or groups cannot enrol in nor benefit from the Programme. Membership of the Programme does not involve the issue of a physical loyalty card or card number.

3. Principle of the Le Club Trendy loyalty program
Members of the Programme accumulate loyalty points when they place orders on the www.placedestendances.com site. When a Member has a sufficient number of loyalty points, he will benefit from discounts and advantages depending on the number of points collected and depending on his status, determined under Article 6 of the present document.

4. Authentication and recognition of Members 
Any Member of the Programme will be able to authenticate himself on the site using his usual profile (login/email address and password) in order to be recognised as a Member and take advantage of the associated benefits. It is the sole responsibility of the Member, who is aware of the risks involved, to preserve the confidentiality of his authentication details for the site. Place des Tendances cannot be held responsible in the event that the Member fails to adhere to this principle.

5. Accumulation of points
  5.1. Rules of acquisition
The Member begins to accumulate loyalty points, known as Mods, from the first order he places on the website, up to 6 (six) months before the launch of the Programme or the membership of the new customer. The validity period of loyalty points is 6 (six) months from the end of the month in which they were generated. 

Each item purchased on the Place des Tendances website entitles the customer to the credit of a certain number of loyalty points. Place des Tendances can freely create promotions, occasional or permanent, for the general public or targeted, which are likely to change, by an increase or decrease, the number of loyalty points associated with the order of an item. If necessary, Members will be informed of this by any means. At the time of publication of this document, each euro spent, excluding postage and packing costs, generates one loyalty point.

The scale of points awarded is freely defined by Place des Tendances, which may change it at any time and at its sole discretion. Members will then be informed of the new scale in force by any means.

For each order registered, the Member's account is automatically credited with the total number of loyalty points corresponding to newly-purchased items, but the credit of these points will be effective only when payment has been approved. In the event of the exchange of an item that generated points, the corresponding number of points will not be credited a second time. In the event of the cancellation and/or refund of an order, Place des Tendances reserves the right to deduct the corresponding points from the Member's account.

  5.2. Calculation of a round number
Only a whole number of points can be credited. If the application of the euro/loyalty points conversion rate results in a decimal number of points, the number of loyalty points credited will be rounded down to the nearest whole number if the decimal is less than five, and rounded up to the nearest whole number if the decimal is equal to or greater than five. Therefore, for example: 120.40 euro spent with Place des Tendances will entitle the customer to a credit of 120 loyalty points. By contrast, 120.50 euro spent will entitle the customer to a credit of 121 loyalty points.

  5.3. Checking the account and validity of points
By accessing his customer account on Place des Tendances, the Member may freely consult his order history and check his balance of loyalty points. In addition, for each order placed, the Member will receive email confirmation of his order that also includes the number of loyalty points generated by the said order and the total balance of points.

The loyalty points are valid for 6 (six) months from the end of the month in which they were generated. As soon as a purchase is made and the related payment has been approved, the loyalty points generated are immediately registered in the Member's account. At the end of each month, the Member's account is updated with the points accrued, and the sum of loyalty points is updated by subtracting the points that were generated during the course of the month 6 months prior, which have become invalid. Therefore, if on 10 January the Member generates 70 points on his account, these will be deducted from the total balance of loyalty points at the end of the month of July.

6. Three statuses within the loyalty Programme

The Le Club Trendy loyalty Programme has three different statuses: 

Le Club Trendy member: a customer who collects loyalty points from his orders. The balance of the points he has accumulated over the last six months is less than 299 loyalty points. Privilege member: customer whose balance of points is between 300 and 499 loyalty points. Premium member: customer whose balance of points is more than or equal to 500 loyalty points.

The Member only holds a particular status during the period in which he has the number of loyalty points necessary to maintain this status. At the end of each month, after the balance of points has been updated in line with their validity period, it is therefore possible that the Member may lose his status for a less-favourable status, in which case he will be informed of this by email. However, an increase in status is effective immediately after the Member's new order generates enough loyalty points to reach the threshold for a higher status. Where appropriate, the Member will be informed of this by email.

Each status entitles the customer to different benefits: 

Club Trendy member: no benefits.

Privilège member:
- An IMMEDIATE discount of 5% on all orders, valid all year round excluding during sales. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotion.
- An IMMEDIATE discount of 10% on all beauty products (excluding Dyson & Christian Louboutin Beauté), valid all year round excluding crossed out prices.
- Preferential rates for Chronopost and Colissimo International deliveries.
- Early access to private sales.
- Early access to the latest offers and new brands
- Additional new surprises throughout the year.

Premium member:
- An IMMEDIATE discount of 10% on all orders, valid all year round excluding during sales. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotion.
- An IMMEDIATE discount of 20% on all beauty products (excluding Dyson & Christian Louboutin Beauté), valid all year round excluding crossed out prices.
- Free Chronopost and Colissimo International deliveries.
- For orders over 150 euro: free VIP and Chrono RDV delivery in Paris and Île-de-France in areas eligible for this service.
- Early access to private sales
- Early access to the latest offers and new brands.
- Additional new surprises throughout the year


7. Miscellaneous
The sale, purchase, brokerage, resale, trade or exchange of loyalty points is strictly prohibited.
Place des Tendances accepts no responsibility in the event of fraudulent use or misuse of loyalty points and/or use in violation of these terms and conditions of use, and reserves the right to take any action that it deems appropriate to protect its interests.
These terms and conditions of use may be modified or added to at any time. Similarly, the loyalty Program may be shortened, interrupted or terminated at any time. Where necessary, these situations will be brought to the attention of Members by any means deemed appropriate.
In the event of the termination of the loyalty Program at the discretion of Place des Tendances, points earned on the Member's account may be used for the six months following the Member's last order. Beyond this point, they will be permanently lost.
Any use of the Le Club Trendy Programme contrary to these terms and conditions of use may result in the immediate cancellation, at the discretion of Place des Tendances, of the customer's Member status and his benefits, the closure of his account and the deletion of all loyalty points accumulated. The Member will not be entitled to claim any compensation for any reason whatsoever.

Membership of the loyalty Programme is subject to full acceptance of all of these terms and conditions of use and to arbitration as a last resort by Place des Tendances for all disputes relating to the interpretation and application of these terms and conditions of use.
