A family affair that is felt in its DNA. Indeed, the company Closed works with over 400 people it trusts, from Germany, where it was founded, throughout Europe to the United States. The designers, Til Nadler, Gordon Giers, and Hans Redlefsen, founded this brand as a trio with a shared vision and spirit: to work with people they appreciate. After studying together in London, the three men decided to pursue different paths, each in a European city. But very quickly, the idea of a collaboration seemed obvious to them. Today, they each lead different branches of Closed, complementing each other perfectly. Gordon Giers is Head of Design and Marketing, Til Nadler heads Distribution, and Hans Redlefsen manages the company's financial projections. As a united team, they have established a dynamic vision: always create sophisticated, high-end pieces, and ensure that every stage of production is of impeccable quality.

In 1978, the brand aimed to become the benchmark for denim. "C'est ça", in 1968, was its original name, with its first sportswear and design collection. "Ça" was inspired by the famous designers Marithé and François Gribaud, but after an objection regarding the use of the naming by a textile brand, the brand decided to rename itself CLOSED. And the name has remained ever since! Founded by Marithé and François Girbaud, then sold to their Hamburg partners, Hans Leplow and Günther Giers, in the late 90s. It was taken over at the end of 2009 by the son, Gordon, and his friends. French imagination, Italian craftsmanship, German spirit. These influences have given birth to their productions.
