Virgin wool is pure wool, with no synthetic fibres added. It is exceptionally soft, naturally breathable and insulating. It is a biodegradable material and the most recyclable fibre on earth. Yet it accounts for just 1% of the fibres produced each year.
We work with the prestigious Italian mill Vitale Barberis for our cool wool and flannel fabrics. Founded in 1663, it has an established expertise, a family heritage passed down for hundreds of years and a corporate culture focused on sustainable development. This supplier has acquired numerous certifications over the years.
You can iron at a low temperature (110°C). - Do not machine wash. Often, simply airing it out is enough. Otherwise, opt for professional cleaning. - Do not tumble dry! Nothing beats air drying away from direct sunlight to preserve the fabric and colour.
