Pyrenex is a down jacket brand whose history began in 1859. Its founder, Abel Crabos, collected goose and duck feathers from markets and farms in the Landes. His son, René Crabos, joined the company and defined the brand's identity. In 1940, his wife began designing and manufacturing the first down jackets for humanitarian purposes. René's son, André, created the first bedding workshops. And it was in 1968 that Pyrenex was born. The name evokes the nearby mountain range, the preferred terrain for its products. This was also the year the first sleeping bags were created. The brand developed and collaborated with great couturiers including Alexis Mabille and Alexandre Vauthier. Pyrenex's first boutique opened its doors in 2015. Discover all Pyrenex pieces now on Place des Tendances.
