What is Bamboo Viscose?
Viscose comes from a fiber regenerated artificially from cellulose. It can come from the transformation of a natural plant fiber from bamboo, cotton, or eucalyptus.
What are the benefits of Viscose?
Viscose fabrics are very resistant and also have the advantage of retaining color well. They will withstand repeated washes better than natural fibers that may fade. For those in a hurry, this very fluid fabric wrinkles very little and rarely needs ironing!
So, natural fiber or synthetic fiber?
Neither actually...
The fiber is natural as it comes from the cellulose in bamboo. But it is chemically processed. The resulting Bamboo Viscose is therefore an artificial fiber, halfway between natural and synthetic fibers.
