Kenzo Takada, the Japanese designer who pursued his career in France, was born on 27 February 1939. He founded the Kenzo brand. Kenzo Takada became passionate about fashion from a young age. Against his family's wishes, he left Kobe University, which he found unfulfilling, to join a fashion school, which had just opened its doors to men. It wasn't until 1970 that Kenzo Takada presented his first fashion show in the Galerie Vivienne. Known for its perfumes and its shifted mode, Kenzo house offers shoes with Asian prints. Women certainly appreciate the comparison between Kenzo shoes and sneakers VS ballet flats and slippers of our designers, essential in recent seasons, which can be perfectly worn with a dress.
This season the creative duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon & offers looks combining comfort, drape and volumes. Graphic prints are found mingling with the colors such as black, green and yellow. Place Trends also invites you to discover the world of Kenzo fragrances.
