Concerning its production, after an initial firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive enamels of different colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and vibrant relief. The appearance of shades of colors that vary from one piece to another is the result of a skillful artisanal blend of firing techniques and enamel application methods. The ISLAND collection draws its inspiration from the Faroe Islands, an archipelago located off Denmark in the North Atlantic Ocean. Its visual evokes the green moorlands and rugged coastal cliffs, where the reliefs and interplay of light on the slightly bumpy surface of the elements create an authentic atmosphere that transports us between land and sea.
