Generally called a bread plate, this small plate is enhanced in its center with slightly sloping edges. Appreciated from appetizers to dessert and even cheese courses, each piece has a unique gradient of colors and harmonizes perfectly with its counterparts.
After an initial firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive enamels of different colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and vibrant relief. The appearance of shade variations found from one piece to another is the result of a skillful artisanal blend of firing techniques and enamel application methods.
The GENESIS collection is inspired by journeys between land and sea. In its EARTH variation, a gradient of blue-grey and khaki reminds of terrestrial layers. Its asymmetrical lines and sharp cuts give it character and authenticity.
