Generally called a bread plate, this small plate is enhanced in its center with slightly inclined edges. Appreciated from appetizers to desserts to cheese, each piece has a unique color gradient and harmonizes perfectly with its counterparts.
After an initial firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive enamels of different colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and vibrant relief. The appearance of shade variations that are found from one piece to another is the result of a skillful artisanal blend of firing techniques and enamel application methods.
The GENESIS collection is inspired by journeys between land and sea. In its BASALTE variation, a volcanic brown gradient reminiscent of the origin of the world appears, bringing a mineral touch. Its asymmetrical lines and sharp cuts give it character and authenticity.
