As for its manufacturing process, after an initial firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive enamels of different colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and vibrant relief. The appearance of shade variations from one piece to another is the result of a skillful artisanal blend of firing techniques and enamel application methods. The ISLAND collection draws its inspiration from the Faroe Islands, an archipelago located off the coast of Denmark in the North Atlantic Ocean.
