Regarding its production, after an initial firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive glazes of different colors are applied to the stoneware, giving it a unique and vibrant relief. The appearance of shades of colors that vary from one piece to another is the result of a skillful artisanal blend of firing techniques and the method of glaze application.
The ISLAND collection draws its inspiration from the Faroe Islands, an archipelago located off the coast of Denmark in the North Atlantic Ocean. Its visual evokes the green moorlands and steep coastal cliffs, where the reliefs and play of light on the slightly bumpy surface of the elements create an authentic atmosphere that transports us between land and sea.
