After removing the insole, wash by hand with a sponge, water, and soap. Let it air dry away from the sun with newspaper padding to help the espadrilles regain their shape.
When you take off your espadrilles, we recommend putting back the original paper inside them: it will help absorb moisture from your espadrilles and preserve their shape.
