These 1461 shoes are made of sturdy Smooth Original leather and remain true to the model produced 60 years ago. These shoes are set on a raw-looking air-cushioned sole, a construction reinforced by our signature yellow stitching, a standout detail since the beginning.
The 1461 3-eyelet shoes are the second model created by Dr. Martens, highly appreciated for their easy-to-wear aspect. The Smooth leather, tough and stiff at first, can be polished for a shiny finish or proudly display signs of wear. The choice is yours. Clean it with a damp cloth and nourish it with Dr. Martens wax polish. Our Goodyear welted models are thermally bonded at 700°C and reinforced by our signature stitching.
