Water saving : This means that water-saving techniques like waterless washing or vegetable tanning were used to make the items.Fashion is one of the world’s most water-intensive industries. This is why so many alternatives are emerging today, in an attempt to reduce this excessive consumption. For example, making a pair of waterless jeans saves tens of litres of water compared to the production of a regular denim product.

Eco-friendly materials : These products are made from at least 50% natural materials that are 100% biodegradable, like wood fiber and EcoVero™.Some materials are much greener than others, so we can transform our wardrobes if we choose to wear textiles made from natural fibres. Sourced from forests or sustainable crops, these fibres mimic everyday fabrics like viscose while guaranteeing a low environmental impact, from the production of the raw materials to the end of the product life cycle.

Organic and certified materials : These items are made from at least 50% organic and/or eco-certified materials. Most of these eco-friendly textiles have been awarded the GOTS or Oeko-Tex label and are produced using environmentally friendly methods. Many manufacturers have adopted organic and more environmentally friendly production methods in line with several ethical criteria: -Not using chemicals or GMOs -Minimizing waste -Processing wastewater -Respecting workers and jobs -Ensuring a high-quality end product.

Le cuir à tannage végétal va se patiner dans le temps pour lui apporter un joli aspect vieilli naturel.
