Olivier is our new beloved checkered pattern rug! It was designed in collaboration with ColorTherapis, specialists in high-quality rugs. Olivier is made of 100% New Zealand wool, entirely hand-tufted by artisans from the Varanasi region in India. This region is known for textiles, especially hand-tufted, knotted, or woven rugs. The tufting weight and the quality of the dyes result in rugs that "stay put" and therefore last a long time. The thickness and density of this rug guarantee absolute comfort, a fluffy texture, and unparalleled softness. To maintain your kilim rug, vacuum it every week, but not at its maximum power, as this can damage the fibers. In case of a stain, first absorb the excess. Then use shampoo diluted in warm water to remove the stain. If it persists, feel free to use a few drops of white vinegar. Let it air dry afterwards. To revive the colors of your rug, sprinkle it with a little baking soda, let it sit, and then vacuum it up.
