- COWHIDE LEATHER UPPER: Maintenance should be done with a quality wax and a soft cloth. A natural or colored wax in the shade of the leather can be used. WOODEN SOLE: Maintenance should be done with a sponge and soapy water. The wood can also be lightly sanded to remove marks and dirt, then optionally apply a clear furniture wax.
